Final Little League Registration Opens in Saline
Final registration date is April 8 for boys through 15 to join Little League baseball this summer. Registration slips available at the Reporter office or Saline Recreation Center from 10 am to 4 pm. Tryouts for ages 8–12 run April 15 at 9:30 am at Henne Field, ages 13–15 on April 22 at 9:30 am at the High School field. A managers meeting is April 13 at 7 pm at the Middle School. About 20 men have volunteered to manage teams.

All Around Saline Town Hosts Two Day Blood Drive
Dozens of Saline volunteers organized Saline Area Blood Bank’s first two day clinic collecting 292 pints. FHA babysitters and Future Homemakers groups provided child care and activities while Wilma Armbruster chaired Monday sessions and Shirley Gage led Tuesday operations with numerous aides and doctors in attendance. The event featured graphics on ecological lessons for youngsters and attendees.
