Saline High track team dominated Lincoln Consolidated 83 to 40 led by Jeff Lewis in the mile and Dennis Martin in the two mile. Saline lost 6-1 to Willow Run in the opener as errors and lack of timely hitting doomed the Hornets. A 2-0 setback at Lincoln followed despite solid pitching by Al Miracle, with Saline managing only two hits. Coach Brion noted defensive improvement but stressed hustle and batting as needing work ahead of Friday’s Chelsea game.

Tryouts for ages 8 to 12 take place Saturday April 15 at 9 30 a m at Henne Field. Unregistered boys can pick up a registration slip at The Reporter office and bring it to the tryouts. All eligible youths must attend. Senior Division for ages 13 to 15 is on April 29 at 9 30 a m at the High School Field.
