From Flint comes word of the August 1 wedding of Maria Trivellin and Second Lt. Harry L. Anderson at Sacred Heart Church. They exchanged vows in a morning ceremony with family and out of town guests in attendance.
The Westminster Fellowship of Federated Church will resume Sunday meetings at 6 30 pm. Joan Austin is the new president, elected at the spring closing meeting. All teenagers are welcome to join. Plans for fall activities include collaborations with other societies in nearby communities.
Federated Presbyterian and Baptist congregations announce Sunday worship returning after two weeks of repairs and redecorating. Church School at 9 45 a m and Morning Worship at 11 a m reopen in the renovated sanctuary with special music by the adult choir. The Westminster teen group starts fall meeting at 6 30 p m and the church council meets at 3 p m.
Louis W. Mars aged 81 of 1107 Prospect St Ann Arbor died August 29 after an extended illness at Saline Convalescent Hospital. Born September 29 1875 in Ann Arbor he owned Vogue Drapery Shop on South University Ave. He is survived by wife Anna Kapner Mars two daughters five brothers two sisters and six grandchildren Funeral services were held at Lockwood Funeral Home with burial at Oakwood Cemetery Saline by the Masonic Lodge.

Christian Lambarth 85 long time Lodi Township farmer died Friday August 30 at home 322 North Ann Street after illness. Born October 23 1871 in Odi Township he married Mary Mayer 1909 in Lodi Township. Survived by wife two daughters four grandchildren five brothers two sisters and one son Harold Lambarth of Ann Arbor. Funeral Sep 2 at Lockwood Funeral Home 130 p.m. and Trinity Church 2 p.m. Burial Lodi Cemetery.
The Federated Church Ladies Aid Society postpones its monthly meeting due to the Saline Fair. The society will convene in the church parlors on Wednesday September 18 at 5 00 with hostesses Mrs Dwight Reynolds and Mrs Hugh Reveling Mrs Edward Fischer chairs the program Bills announce a dance at Ostrander s Corners on Saturday evening.

Plans are completed for the Federated Church Booth at the Saline Fair. Mrs. Paul Klueter is general chairman and lists arrange- ment, clean up committees with members including Mr. and Mrs. Klueter, Jacobsen, Eadie, Martin, Preston, Jaeger. Women asked to bring articles to the church for pricing.
Rehearsals of the Ad Federated Church are set for Thursday at 7 30 PM. Rehearsal will be held at the church premises located at 227 South A Street with the pastor in charge.
Mrs Gedman announces the 7 Afternoon Circle of Church women will meet September 10 at 1 at the home of Mrs Kenzie. Mrs Bari sen will lead and Mrs Dwight will arrange for the program.
Sunday services at St Pauls Church Evangelical and Reformed include a worship service at 11:15 a.m. and a morning service at 10:00 a.m. Church school classes are available during worship.
