The winner is among 300 525 U S young women competing for the national title with scholarships ranging from 1600 to 5000 dollars and trips to Washington D G and New York City.

Hospital Auxiliary Initiates Annual Washtenaw County Drive
Washtenaw County Hospital Auxiliary launches its yearly membership drive to support hospital services. Trustees include Mrs. Fred Arend and Mrs. Everett Wolfin of Saline. A diversional therapist was added, funded by the auxiliary and dues, with gifts and improvements such as jigsaws, wall boards, new curtains, TV lounge updates, and a TV set. Meister Anniversary Celebrated At Saline Home
The twenty fifth wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs William Meister was observed Sunday at their Mills Road home with an afternoon open house. About 100 guests from Toledo Grand Rapids Detroit Ypsilanti Dearborn Adrian Ann Arbor Howell and Saline attended. Mr Meister a vice president of Hoover Ball and Beating Company heads the die casting division. The event featured white flowers and silver buffet settings and was hosted by their daughter Mary and son William, Albion College freshmen.
