Dodge announces a nationwide contest for its 40th anniversary offering grand prize winners two weeks vacations with double pay and other major awards. Elmer J. Steele sets the contest running from February 8 to midnight March 29 with a grand prize winner each day for 40 days receiving a new 1554 Dodge plus gas and oil.
Prize winners receive all transportation meals and hotel accommodations paid by Dodge plus 500 dollars cash. A two week vacation for two is awarded with double pay based on the higher salary. Additional prizes totaling 10000 dollars go to non grand prize winners. Entrants visit their nearest Dodge dealer for an entry blank and complete a 25 word or less sentence.

Mrs. George Roth and others called on Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Layher in Battle Creek while Philip Maxwell of Chicago visited Saline Valley Farms with H. M. Downs. Rebese Sve was born January 11 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Alwin Gross spent time with sister Mrs. John Spette in Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. Biss Curtiss, Car and Mary Margaret visited Mrs. Otto Albright's home Sunday.
Notes of local residents visiting relatives in Ohio and Florida. Mrs Hettie Ream stayed with daughter Mrs Henry Karner in Dundee and Mr and Mrs Ray Davis visited son Paul Davis in Worthington Ohio. The Hollywood Ice Revue drew Manchester and Westphal families to Detroit Sunday.
