Local families gather for weekend visits and events

Mr and Mrs Joe Monson attended a football game in Polk Friday night. Delwyn Lindholm and extended family visited in Lincoln and Omaha with multiple relatives from Swede Home Osceola and Clarkson hospital. District rally plans were finalized at a Young Adult Executive meeting in Osceola.

Family and Friends Gather for Visits and Birth of Sandra Louise

Sunday dinner guests included Delmar Carlson, Eldon and Johnson families, and Floyd and Dean Johnson. A birthday gathering at Mrs. Al bir Benson's hosted ladies. Ed Johnsons visited Harry Carlson and then Walter Widge home. Wesley and family welcomed an eight pound four ounce daughter Sandra Louise born Saturday September 17. Mrs. Landers is Ed Johnson's granddaughter.

Local Residents Attend Social Gatherings Across Community

Mrs Earl Rasmussen hosted the Home Society on Wednesday afternoon. Several couples hosted dinners and visited relatives in the area including Mr and Mrs Levar Sandell, Clarence Rodene of Hordville, Oscar Sundberg and Jimmy, Henry Sandell, Albert Sundberg, and Mrs Gee Calhoon of San Diego. Claude and Russell Shenk returned to Bellflower after visiting here and attending Ford Shenk Golden Wedding Anniversary. Sunday guests at the Ford Shenk home included Albert Sundberg and Mrs Calhoon. The Willert family spent Saturday in Lincoln with Willert attending the Nebraska South Dakota game. Also noted are dinners with G E Heckman in Fremont, visits from Edymond Smith of San Jose and Roy Carr of Alameda, and other nearby gatherings involving the Smith, Bradley, Willett, Jones, Nelson, Fjell, Hartwig Fiedman, and Benedict families plus Sharon Davis of Richland North Carolina.
