Mrs. Robert Shostrom expresses sincere thanks to relatives neighbors and friends for flowers cards visits and kindness during her hospital stay and recovery at home.
Mrs John Wochner served as accompanist at Sunday services for Kenneth Bedient. Neil Doremus died Tuesday at his home east of Park leaving a wife four sons and a daughter. Local visits include Harvey Lind Wallace Nettie Carlson and Gordon in Omaha. Swede Plain W S C S held September meeting with Mrs Carlson and Mrs Junky hosting. Carlsons and Jokny in attendance. Several regional visitors attended games and socials. Ted Junky and Ettie Carlson hosted programs. Dennis Hahn returned to Pensacola after furlough. Polk County residents attended Temperance League meeting in Stromsburg with George Robinson outlining county organization plans. A dusting of church and family visits filled week.

Lincoln couple Gordon Johnson announce the birth of twin daughters, Nora Mae Cline is now Mrs Johnson. Leamons hosted Pennington and Frances of Silver Creek for a Saturday visit. Arthur Smith family and Lennie Prell join dinner in Crete for Bill Prell before his service entry. Steenbeck hosted guests Wall of Burbank Bud Hansen of Minden and Art Miller of Hampton.
