Mr and Mrs M G Lindburg Mr and Mrs Junior Lindburg and Mr and Mrs Albert Larson attended the wedding of Dr Hedlund at Wahoo Sunday. Lennis Lind and Joan attended the State Fair Friday. Lennis Lind and Phillip Johnson took Jeanne Lind and Lois Johnson to Lincoln Thursday for Wesleyan University. E A Flodman moved into a new home September 8. It took less than four months to build.

Bates Family Returns from Midwest Trip and Local Visits

Rev and Mrs A C Bates and Arthur arrived home after a three week tour including Iowa Illinois Indiana Kentucky and Missouri stopping at Mammoth Cave en route. A surprise birthday party for Mrs Ben Peterson was hosted at the N E McNaught home. Otto Wilshusen attended the State Fair then visited Leonard Feeken family in Crete. Tuesday overnight guests in Richard Widga home included Lincoln Smith Clifford Smith Leanah Smith of Greeley Colorado. Joe Litchenberger of Bradshaw and Ray Werner fished in Minnesota last week. Otto Wilshusen also visited Ralph Wilshusen family at North Bend. Gus Branting Rock Island and Cliff Branting stayed with Ralph Branting. Lloyd Hartman and sons from Stromsburg visited Homer Green and Merlin Hartman Friday. Hardville Lutheran Aid Society was attended by Will Kroger Hennie Seymour G M Hill Ella Shenk and Ed Benson Wednesday. Hennie Seymour and John Adelson visited Johnnie Preston near York Thursday afternoon. Mary Lou and Carmen attended the State Fair Friday.

Elsa Olson arrived from California for a three week Stromsburg stay before a year in Sweden. Leonard Jorgen sen and daughters June and Sandra of Dwight Nebraska visited J A Anderson. Lynn Davis left for Houston after a two week visit with Atkinson family and relatives. Charles Nelson resumed studies at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Darlene Falk, employed at Topeka, Kansas, vacationed with her parents. Bob Zieg and sister Rachael joined Arthus Hultquist family gathering. Walter French Jr. and family returned to Lincoln after a week's visit and will move to Iowa City for graduate work. Stanley Nabb of Hamilton Ohio was a supper guest at G Herrmann home. he is Herrmann’s son-in-law.
