Members of the Crusaders of Swede Plain church met Sunday night at Walter Stohl’s home with all participants present. Various local visitors shared time at nearby homes including Ed Coover and Glen Thomas families.
Donette Ostberg of the University of Nebraska spent the weekend with her parents Mr and Mrs Don Ostberg and with Murray and Mr and Mrs Ilof Ostberg. Donette was driven back to Lincoln Sunday evening. Wayne Ramsey and Lyn visited Mrs Lester Rehrs in Aurora Hospital Sunday afternoon.
Mr and Mrs Walter Nelson spent the weekend at Arcadia with their son Marvin and family. Stromsburg guests joined the Clymer and Brazda households for dinners and celebrations. Numerous relatives from Fullerton Lincoln and Jackson visited, hosted dinners and attended weddings and funerals.
The Wide Awakes Sunday School class of Polk United Methodist Church visited Wayne Hill last Sunday in observance of his 97th birthday. They shared scripture and devotions, heard stories of pioneer life, and received candy and a class fund donation.
Pastor Gene Wood leads Sunday school for all ages at 9 30 A M and 10 30 A M morning worship. Mid week services are Thursday at 7 30 P M with choir practice Thursday at 8 30 P M.
