Raymond Bottum and family arrive from Colorado to visit the A W Shafer home while Harold Schultz returns from Racine Wisconsin to spend Thanksgiving with his parents. Dr and Mrs D H Westfall entertained friends in honor of Roy Vail of La Grange Indiana with a two course lunch. The Seniors held a party on the Blue. Mrs John Seymour visited her parents Mr and Mrs Axel Renquist in Benedict.
Polk County Nebraska officials audit and approve numerous claims for county general fund farm and welfare expenses. Items include supplies, mileage, legal care, and aid to clients totaling many dollars, with payments to local merchants, utilities, and service providers.
Local church notes report Free Methodist and other congregations in Omaha and surrounding areas. Includes Sunday schedules, sermons, and a National Preaching Mission overview with emphasis on worship, evangelism, and community welcome.
