The city of Stromsburg plans to assume electric distribution, purchasing the gas and electric system from the Iowa Nebraska Gas and Power Co after last springs election. City offices will be staffed by Maude Johnson, Ray Stever, Chester Bennett, and Milton Anderson as Water Commissioner. The Hall is being expanded and service should begin in November.
