Bird Watching Improves With Sharp Ears and Guides
An account from Nebraska recalls a weekend bird watching event at Covenant Cedars with Ruth Green of Bellevue leading slides and field work. Swede Lind and Lee Morris aided, while Inez Nuland collected plants and noted goldenrod varieties. Birders spotted hawks warblers and songbirds along the Platte river road as Green demonstrated precise identification by ear.
