Services Held Tuesday For Wendell Shaw
Wendell George Shaw 51 of Polk died in Cambridge where he worked with G H Construction Co while his guard rail project continued. He was born Aug 24 1918 in Thayer Nebr served as a Staff Sergeant in WWII and married Margaret Oglesby in Abilene Texas. He was Polk village marshal for 14 years and a member of First Baptist Church and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife five children two sisters and his mother. Continued on Page 4.
