Miss Rosella Brauer rode to Omaha Sunday while Paul Strand visited Grand Island over the weekend. Lillian Brown spent Sunday in Grand Island with Mrs. Laura Robertson. The Pollock family drove to Platte Center to visit relatives. Clara Dahlgren left for Peru State Normal. Young Rudolph Nyberg broke a leg while shelling corn but doctors expect a full recovery. A play by M and E Church talent drew a good crowd at Silver Creek with a fine orchestra. Local guests included Lester Stark, Elmer Cash and families. Mrs Ed Schultz left for Wood River to visit relatives. Ed accompanied to Grand Island. A peeping Tom frightened Polk residents Tuesday. described as a rural, married man who may need doctors for buckshot if caught.
