Village Board Acts on permits and ordinances in 1976 session
The Village Board of Polk Nebraska met November 2 1976 at 7 30 PM with trustees present. They approved minutes reports and a building permit for Farmers Co op Grain Assn to erect an elevator on railroad right of way. Ordinances 188 189 and 190 were introduced and passed establishing Sunday alcohol sale hours zoning and subdivisions policies. Jimmy Sheen hired as village marshal at 650 per year.
