Living Dimension Singers to Perform in Area
The Living Dimension Singers a gospel youth group sponsored by the Lutheran Evangelistic Movement of Minneapolis visit Stromsburg and Polk for a weekend of services and concerts. They sing at Salem Lutheran Church Friday November 19 at 7 00 p m and at Trinity Lutheran Church Polk Saturday November 29. They lead Sunday worship at Trinity and perform at the Osceola Senior Citizens home with other activities. Everyone is invited.

Oscar Edward Johnson obituary of Swede Plain resident
Oscar Edward Johnson aged 92 died November 2 at Aurora hospital. A Swede Plain Polk counties resident since birth, he was born December 12, 1884 to John and Clara Johnson. He married Sigred Gustafson in 1908 and had a son Harlan. He was a longtime Swede Plain Church member and Charter member of the 1100F. Funeral services were held November 5 at Swede Plain Cemetery with Rev. Robert Holbrook officiating. Burial followed there. He was survived by his wife, son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, five brothers, and one sister.
