Polk Village Board Proceedings Open Meeting November 1 1966

The Polk Village Board met in regular session at the Polk Hotel lobby on November 1 1966 at 8:00 p.m. with all members and Attorney Norton present. Minutes and reports from committees and the treasurer were approved. A motion approved purchasing a used 212 motor grader on a buy and try basis from Lincoln Equipment Co. and several village bills were presented and authorized for payment.

Community dinner hosts honor Gary Stevens before service

Mr and Mrs Edd Coover entertained Sunday with guests including Mr and Mrs Arlo Stevens and family and Mr and Mrs Paul Coover honoring Gary Stevens who leaves Tuesday for service. The day featured visits from Grand Island and Osceola residents and several other local families.

Village meeting adjourns after bills approved

Trustee Harless moved that the bills be allowed and warrants drawn in payment. Seconded by Trustee Kil ion. The motion carried. There being no further business a motion prevailed to adjourn. Arnold Neuhaus, Village Clerk.
