School Vocal Groups Present Tuesday Concert
The school hosts a full night of entertainment on Tuesday November 8 at 8 00 pm with small groups including triple trio boys octette mixed octette and trio. The girls glee and boys glee chorus 36 of 67 voices perform along with seventh and eighth grade choruses and a magician from the south.
Natalie Hahn Crowned AkSarBen Countess in Omaha
Natalie Hahn of Polk County was crowned AkSarBen Countess at the coronation as Nebraska's largest social function. She will graduate in 1967 from the University of Nebraska with majors in Home Economics and Journalism and has earned four scholarships.

The Christian Businessmen's Crusade will host evening meetings from November 13 to 18 at Polk Baptist church. After pre Halloween vandalism by a group of Polk County high school students in the early Sunday hours and damage including 81 tires flattened on buses and equipment, the school and village order a 10 o clock curfew starting October 31.
