The report lists visitors including Hilding Strand and Earl Stevens to Stromsburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Tenny welcoming a son Friday October 22. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Newton host guests then return from Red Wood Falls Minnesota where they hosted Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Streeter. Mrs. Ed Widge suffered a hand injury from a Maytag washer requiring fifteen stitches.
Henry Johnson becomes proprietor of the highway hamburger shop, taking possession Monday from Clyde Willets. Community notices list local residents traveling for events and visiting relatives, including trips to Free Methodist Conference, Lincoln football game attendance, and visits among Larson, Hecht, Leach, and Sanders families.
Free Methodist Church led by Pastor L J Montzingo lists Sunday School at 10 00 and class meeting at 11 00 next Sunday morning Evangelistic Service at 7 30 with Rev C E Foe visiting November 13 15 for the first quarterly meeting of the Conference Year Visitors welcome The M E Church notes by E E Pengelly show Sunday School at 10 A M Worship at 11 15 and Young People at 6 30 Evening services at 7 30 with a sermon on Far sighted Folk from Ezekiel 12 22 28 All services offered to invite attendance and gospel preaching
Free Mission Church details morning worship at 11 and Sunday School at 10. Pastors and services listed include Paul E. Carlson and a Swedish mid week service on Thursday. Donnel Springer and Dan Graves welcomed in Lincoln and Central City visits.
