Swede Home News: Robert Willits Family To Visit In Texas

Arborville residents gather in homes and parks for graduation honors and family celebrations after commencement. Home Society Meeting Arranged at Mrs Werner’s Home

The Home Society met on Wednesday afternoon May 18 at Mrs. R. C. Werner’s home with guest Mrs. Chas School of McMinnville Oregon. Cards of thanks were read for illness and well wishes were signed and sent to Lydia Peterson and Esther Steel. Mrs. Werner hosted with organ numbers and a $35.40 donation to the Nebraska Children's Home noted by the secretary. A carry-in lunch concluded a pleasant afternoon.

Mrs. Charles Schoof of McMinnville Oregon was a houseguest of Ray Werner who is her sister’s husband. Numerous neighbors and friends hosted, dined, and attended banquets, lectures, and church events in Hartington Kearney Stromsburg and Lincoln with visits from Walden McNaught and others. Notable moments included Walden’s installation as State Coaching Association president and Burnsys travel talks on Pakistan.
