Miss Lizzie Johnson traveled to Anaheim California to visit her brother Chas P who is in poor health. A crew of telephone workers arrived in Polk to reset and install new poles. W P Miller delivered six ice cream treats to picnic parties hosted by local teachers Friday. Mrs Emma Jensen the hotel landlady treated the municipal band after Monday rehearsal.
