The County Court of Polk County Nebraska will hear claims against the estate of Oscar Dahlin on August 18, 1947. Creditors must file their claims by August 16, 1947 or be barred. Dated April 18, 1947. County Judge L. Merrick.
Mrs C R Peterson and daughter Shirley Ann visited in Dr R Butler’s Grand Island home. Mrs Charles Burgess hosted friends in honor of her sister Mrs George Friel and family from Indianapolis. A first year sawing club organized with 14 members. Eve Cramer named president and Vivian Keathner treasurer. leaders Margaret Peterson and Carol Burke. A seven pound son was born Wednesday to Mr and Mrs Orville Miller west of Polk.
Creditors of the Carl Hahn estate in Folk County Nebraska are warned a county court hearing will be held September 3, 1947 to hear and allow all filed claims. Claims must be filed by September 2, 1947 or be forever barred. Dated May 2, 1947. County Judge L. M Merrick.

Mrs Dennis Mills was a guest of her sister Mrs Pete Schrader near Marquette Friday. Mrs M F Smith is home from Lincoln where she has been caring for her daughter. Mr and Mrs Karl Detloff went to Lincoln last weekend to consult a physician in regard to Mrs Detloff health.
