PTA Election and Year End Meeting Highlights
The PTA elected new officers for the coming year with Mrs Howard Bush as president and Mrs Herbert Bankson as vice president. The past executive board included Mrs Floyd Johnson as president and Mrs Larry Smith as vice president. Major projects featured immunization for students, the mother-daughter banquet, and kitchen equipment purchases. Seniors night covered class will, history, and prophecy with medals awarded to outstanding students. Visitors from Memphis, Tenn., planned schooling at Miramar and a fighter squadron. Local social notes recount Mother's Day and community dinners with many area families in Stromsburg, York, and surrounding towns.
