White Mice Used in Chemical Tests for Fly Control
Old phonograph drives a revolving shower bath to test new chemicals on a white mouse in place of dairy cows. The process gauges if a compound repels stable flies. if four of twenty flies resist a test mouse, the chemical fails to merit cow trials.
