Polk County Old Times Day Plans Near Complete
Polk County will celebrate Ne braskaland Days proclaimed by Governor Morrison with a Polk County Old Times Day on June 1 in Osceola. An afternoon parade at 2:00 will feature bands fire engines old cars steam engine saddle clubs and floats. Booths will line the square with sod fancy work cake walk fish pond balloons banners and more. The Polk Commercial Club sponsors a blue rock shoot and the Osceola Chamber and boosters plan town dress for Polk County's Centennial year.
