Polk School Board Names Nielsen For Sixth Year
Walter Nielsen signed for his sixth year as Polk school superintendent after joining Polk in 1964 as principal and becoming superintendent in 1965. Heywood starts his fourth year as principal, with several teachers returning, while Adamson moves to Tekamah public schools after three years in Polk. Heapy and Foote have not yet signed contracts.
