Glad Resigns as Farmers Grain Ass'n Manager

L. O. Glad resigns from the Farmers Grain Association with effect April 1 and will move to his father's farm. Lester Stark moves to a farm. he will edit a farm this coming year. Esther Baker, longtime Benedict resident, has passed away leaving twelve sons and two daughters. The High Prairie Forestry Club met March 6 at John Carlson's home and plans a bud bloom leaf twig study for the County Fair.

On March 13 1969 the Polkats 4-H Club met at Mitchell Werner's home with lunch. Mitch demonstrated two cinnamon toast methods and members chose the better one. They prepared wastebaskets and discussed painting or contact finishing. Next meeting at Danny Reed's with apple crisp and finished baskets.

Mrs Emma Horstman Returns From Six Week Trip

Mrs Emma Horstman came home Monday after six weeks away. She stayed two weeks at Howard Rowe's Tucson Arizona house and six weeks with her brother Art Rowe and nephew Bob Rowe in Ukiah California. She notes trees in bloom and abundant flowers with ample rain in Northern California and no floods.
