Polk's Pins and Pans 4-H Club Formed in Polk

The Polk County 4-H group adopted the name Pins and Pans after a Feb 24 vote at Jane Kealiher’s home. Nine girls attended with Jr. Leaders Becky Stevens and Penny Bills. They planned stamps for community service, yearbooks, sewing box items, and cooking demonstrations. Next meeting is March 30 at Wendy Redman’s.

Miss Bridget Ruzicka is one of four girls chosen to represent Case Hall in the Miss Kearney contest. Candidates are judged on talent beauty and personality. The Country Women's Club met at the home of Mrs Leslie Adelson Feb 27 with Mrs Raymond Sundberg and Mrs Jerold Ruzicka as hostesses.
