Shickley used tight defense to deny Polk a state berth, leading 8- point early and limiting Polk to 16 points in the second half. Naslund 69 of Stromsburg were held Saturday at the Evangelical Covenant Church with Rev Robert Kronberg officiating Burial was in Swede Plain Cemetery He died Thursday March 6 at Osceola hospital Naslund born May 20 1905 in Polk County was a World War I veteran and retired Polk area farmer He married Lola Carlson September 20 1972 Survivors include his widow one brother and several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.
