Axel Carl Jones born Stockholm Sweden November 20 1869 died Polk Nebraska February 25 1936 at age 66. He came to the United States in 1882 lived near Polk and farmed before moving to Polk in 1925 to write insurance. Survived by wife Nettie Charlotte Miller and eight children Carl Martin Ossar Calmar Clara Martha and two more, plus eight grandchildren and many friends. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Polk since 1911 and served as trustee treasurer and Sunday School teacher.
