Live Stock Prices at South Omaha June 28 1938
Receipts of cattle at Omaha Monday were 6,500 head with strong demand for desirable steers and yearlings. Best steers reached 10.25, best heifers 9.60, while cows and plain cattle moved slowly. Hog prices declined 10 to 15 cents from Friday with hogs trading around 8.25 to 8.50. Fat lambs showed strength with Idahos 8.60 and natives 8.25, feeder lambs higher, aged sheep steady at 3.25 for fat ewes.
