Numerous local visits and social gatherings noted across Polk County

A long list of weekend visits and family gatherings highlights cross-town travel among residents. Mrs. R B Williams stayed with sister Lela Fricke in Benedict while Bill Stull and Elaine visited Miss Iva and Ray Smith. Dozens of relatives from York, Grand Island, Lincoln, Stromsburg and Osceola attended dinners, showers, and birthday events. Regular trips to Omaha for weddings, schooling and work are recorded alongside community picnics and park outings.
