Polk Methodsts WSCS July Meeting Highlights
The Woman's Society of the United Methodist Church met July 3 in the church parlor with President Mrs Marvin Fredrickson leading. A Brotherhood program was presented by Mrs Walter Nielsen, Mrs Don Lindholm, and Mrs Leslie Adelson, followed by devotions. The Ladies Sextet sang The Battle Hymn of the Republic and a film on The Four Religions was shown. The meeting closed with a Society Benediction and a patriotic lunch hosted by Mrs Don Miller, Mrs Duane Burney, and Mrs Rolland Stromberg. Visitors included Mrs Margaret Cooper and Mrs Fred Bedient.
