Dangers of Thyroid Extracts and Varicose Vein Injections

Dr S W Patterson warns thyroid extract can be dangerous when overused without supervision as it speeds up body processes and may cause poisoning. A study at Boston City Hospital shows one third of patients with varicose vein injections had coexisting conditions that could complicate treatment, indicating caution and medical oversight are essential.
