Ancient Skeletons Found by Two Kansas City Girls

Two Kansas City girls Mary Jane Haden and Virginian Girl studied the New Work prehistoric culture under Dr. Isron Cummings in Arizona. They uncovered an entire room at the Kinishba ruin near Fort Apache, finding three skeletons and many relics, including bone daggers, shell ornaments, turquoise beads, and grinding stones. The ruins likely date 1260 to 320, with a two story structure and only infant remains found in the excavated area.
