Local families gathered for visits and meals with friends and relatives. A large crowd attended the Arborville Missionary and Aid Society bazaar and supper on Friday. Pvt Glen D Schrader left for Fort Lawton after a 15 day furlough with his parents. Several couples hosted and attended various suppers and dinners through the week across Arborville and nearby towns.
Mrs Viola Benson and Mrs Helen Isaacson departed Saturday for Long Beach California to spend several months. Karl Detloff is a patient at Stromsburg Hospital.
A group of California visitors including Dick Johnson Sun Valley and Mrs Edna Melton Long Beach stay at the Grant Willits home in Central City to care for their mother Mrs Carrie Johnson a patient at Hord Memorial Hospital.
