Deadline Set For December 31 On Soil Conservation Reports

Farmers must file complete 1951 Application for Payment by December 31 1961 to receive ACP payments under the 1961 PMA program. County Committee urges those with incomplete compliance to visit the local PMA Office and supply required information. Delegates from Polk County precincts elected a county committee for 1962 with Lee F. Campbell chair Richard Sealey vice chair and Leo Cookson third member. Auxiliary Convenes For December Christmas Meeting

The American Legion Auxiliary met at 7:30 p m in the Legion Hall with 26 members and 2 visitors. The Rehabilitation Committee sent gifts to Veterans Hospitals and Christmas gifts to service men. They voted to send 6 to a hospital for bingo parties and planned Christmas boxes for Polk shut ins.
