Polk County considers technical college options
In Osceola Nebraska the Polk County Board of Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. Representatives from the Seward Milford area and Platte College discussed joining Southeast Nebraska Technical Community College Area or Central Nebraska Technical Community College Area as provided by LIB 759 of the 1970 Legislature. No decision was made and the board adjourned at 3 30 P M to reconvene August 3 1971.

Osceola Nebraska August 3 1971 board met at 10 00 A M audited and allowed claims against various funds totaling numerous items from mowing travel supplies to printings and road work The board adopted a budget for 1971 1972 and approved several expenditures including easements for the Coffin and Hopwood properties and a lease extension with Island Supply Co for a motor grader.
