Immanuel Lutheran celebrated the installation of Rev. Stephen Stohlmann as pastor and Mr Don Stuebgen as parish school principal. The service featured sermons by Rev. Paul F. Lindley J. Cook born March 25 1900 in Clear Spring Greensboro Township Henry County Indiana son of John C. Cook and Alice E Lindley Cook. He grew up in New Castle and graduated high school before serving as janitor at New Castle meetinghouse 1917 1919. He graduated from Earlham College in 1923 and married Corona Rayle in August 1923. They attended Chicago Theological Seminary and both graduated in 1927. They served in Jamestown Ohio 1927 1929 and then Portland Maine at Forest Avenue Meeting until 1947.

Her mother and brother preceded her in death. She was an active member of the Elks Club Services.
