Mr and Mrs Walter Fenster of Hampton welcomed an eight pound boy born Sunday. Mr and Mrs Gordon Eno and relatives visited Lincoln for the weekend. Mrs Grace Renquist and family saw brother Rolla Maze in St Paul Sunday. Hahn Smith reunion held at Polk City Park with many Smith and Hahn families present. Shafer and Plessinger families visited York. Rev R M Bailey led the funeral for C A Green of Stromsburg Monday.

Osceola Update Highlights Local Additions And Visits

An electric flasher was installed at State street and the Lincoln Highway. The Class of 1913 plans a reunion next Sunday at the Presbyterian Church parlors, meeting at 12 30. Mrs E J Brown hosted Davenport visitor D C Macken over the weekend and joined him for a trip to Alma Nebraska with brother J H Macken and family. Jane Lou Buchta underwent an appendectomy at Osceola Hospital Monday and is recovering well. Mrs Geo Alliband traveled to Atlanta Iowa to be with her seriously ill mother. Sunday dinner guests at the E residence were noted in the local notices.
