Local Social Roundup From Hampton And Nearby Towns

Mrs Henry Reed and Arvilla and Leila visited the Arthur Dose home in Hampton on Wednesday. Prof E P Maderow was taken to Lutheran hospital in York for treatment Saturday. Mr and Mrs Emmet Alton and Marjorie of Hastings spent Thursday with Forrest Sedan and Mrs Martin Bank and Mrs Edgar Ziegelbein hosted the German Lutheran Ladies Aid. Henry Renquist and family from Benedict spent Wednesday evening at John Seymour’s home. Mrs Anderson and Benita Joe left Friday for Rockford Illinois. Miss Gladys Swanson left Sunday for the Baptist Assembly at Hastings. Rev and Mrs Con Hewitt of Coatesfield and Con Hewitt Jr and children of St Joseph Missouri and Miss Clara Brock dined with Mrs W C Steele and family Thursday. The W C T U met at the Methodist Church parlors Tuesday for the annual business meeting followed by luncheon. Harlan Frazier of Ord and the Shafer family hosted dinner guests Sunday and later visited Mrs Mary Blair at Aberville. C H Hare and children of Arnold visited Forrest Sedan and wife Friday. Gerald Stevens and Richard Gustafson spent a week with their aunt and uncle Irvin Anderson.

Mrs. Harold Nelson resigns as teacher, leaving a vacant high school post for the coming year. Omaha visitors Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Larson and son stayed with relatives and returned home after a Sunday visit. Francis Green has spent two weeks with the E. E. Edwards family in Sumner. A City Park family union honored Robert Stromberg of New York City, with many relatives in attendance. Carl and Mrs. Dose hosted visitors and planned westward travels to Idaho and Salt Lake City.
