Spray Roses Benefit From Regular Insecticide Sprays

Rose specialist Melvin E Wyandt of Painesville Ohio urges frequent spraying for aphid control. He notes many growers use insecticide but fail to spray often enough as aphids multiply quickly. A spray combines one to two teaspoonfuls nicotine sulphate per gallon water with dissolved laundry soap for contact and fumigant action.
