County Board approves permits and leases in 1968 session

The board motioned to allow The Geer Company to move over-size loads on county roads. It leased the Peter Kopke home basement as an election polling place. Agreements were signed for Harold Neujahr and Robert Lux to place culverts beneath roads for irrigation. Adjournment set for April 2, 1968. Dale Frizzell and Carl R. H. Johnson presided.

Local community notes report Sunday dinner guests Mr Richard Gustafson and family and Mr Robert Bannister and family from Hershey at Mr and Mrs Henry Steinke in Central City. Denver visitors include Mr and Mrs Lee Hanson and Lawrence Shenk family with Mr and Mrs Carroll Flodman and Robin. Friday night visits connected the Shenk and Flodman households in Osceola.
