Bridal Shower Honors Miss Cheryl Sagehorn

Miss Cheryl Sagehorn was the honored guest at a shower Sunday March 31 at the home of Mrs James Wochner. Fifteen classmates and friends participated in bridal games and gifts. A dainty lunch was served by hostesses Carolyn Kealiher, Marie Carlson, Dianne Bodine and Mrs James Wochner. Miss Sagehorn will be the bride of Roger Morris Saturday April 20 at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Polk.

Polk Women’s Club Meets at Mrs Aker Home

The Polk Women’s Club gathered at Mrs P W Aker’s home on Tuesday afternoon April 2 with 13 members and 2 visitors. President Kathy Brazda led the business session as plans for a spring outing were made and a Easter program was presented by Mrs Lloyd Stromberg and Mrs Aker with music by Mrs Verland Widga and Mrs Brazda. Refreshments were served by Mrs Oscar Sundberg and Mrs Leslie Adelson.
