Trinity LCW Meets April 1 at Church Basement
The Trinity Lutheran LW meets in the church basement on Wednesday April 1 with Dana Werner opening with a hymn and devotions. Della Hoffman led the business meeting as plans were made for the State LCW convention in Lincoln May 18 and 19. The group moved two Easter fills to Hannah Carlson and Lillian Garling. the May meeting will be in the evening. The afternoon included carpet sewing and a lunch served by Bertha Brazda and Fern Myers to seven members.

The Soil Conservation Service and Polk County Soil and Water Conservation District aid landowners with conservation plans to curb weed growth. About 5300 acres shifted from cropping to range seedings, aided by ACP cost-sharing and SCS advice.
