Osceola honors medical staff with district award

A silver loving cup on Kepner's window marks the sixth district medical profession’s distinguished service award. The district including Saunders, Butler, Seward, Pelk, Hamilton and York counties reported the year 1934 maternity mortality at one death in 1460 births. A fire at F B Kelly’s South State Street home disrupted noon hours as paint burning went out of control during remodeling. No serious injuries reported.

Osceola Events Gather Local Guests and Graduates

The Osceola High School class of 1935 held a reunion at the Corn Palace Cafe Saturday evening with a seven o'clock dinner for nineteen of the thirty six graduates. Sponsors J Carl Bryant and wife attended. Also noted are Bridge Club gatherings at Dr A A Wurtz home and at Mr and Mrs Clayton Bystromuth with high score and traveling prize.
