Celoron unveils new Lucy statue to replace Scary Lucy
In Celoron New York a bronze sculpture of Lucille Ball by Carolyn Palmer will be unveiled in Lucille Ball Memorial Park. Palmer aims to capture Ball’s energy and glamour while addressing past criticism of the earlier sculpture by Dave Poulin. The project, funded by private donors, costs about 250000 dollars and may move within the park or to Jamestown’s National Comedy Center.
