Polk County approves tax lien foreclosures and leases
Polk County Nebraska officials authorize foreclosure of delinquent tax liens on several parcels and approve irrigation culvert placements, a beer license recommendation, and a sale of county land. The board creates a County Board of Health with Dr J L Blodig as medical adviser and approves a classified land sale by public auction for May 17 1956.

Miss Allegra Johnson Stroms burg Miss Lulu Hendrickson and Mrs. Dale Lewis with Mrs. Lulu Ward traveled to Omaha Saturday for the Odd Fellows Centennial and the four state Conclave at the civic auditorium. Mrs. Wm. Buhl returned Friday after two weeks with her son-in-law and daughter in Omaha and met her new grandson Randy Dean Vizal. Bud and Ellis Deeds and families visited Flossie Deeds and Roc Miller in Osceola. Orlo Deeds and family from Valley also visited that afternoon.
