At a meeting last Thursday an acting slate of officers was chosen to organize a cooperative cold storage locker. Herman A. Jones is president, Grace Hahn is vice president, and Lloyd Treadway serves as secretary. An advisory committee replaces all other attendees, with two signers from each precinct to reach a 400-signature goal. The group will reconvene on Wednesday evening, August 17 to review signatures and advance plans.

Hazel Marie Sauter born near Silver Creek Nebraska on April 19 1930 died August 8 at Osceola Hospital aged 8 years 3 months 19 days. Survived by her parents two sisters and grandparents in Wheaton Missouri and Clarks Nebraska with many relatives and friends. Her funeral faith was in God and Wesley Chapel Sunday School.
