June Term of Sullivan County Supreme Court Opens

The June term convened at Kelly's Hall Monticello with Hon. George H. Fitts presiding due to the old courthouse demolition. Grand jurors, excused names, and a special panel of fifteen trial jurors were drawn as the calendar listed numerous cases for trial including separations and custody rulings. The court granted separation in a suit by Fred A. Van Orden and awarded custody of the children to the mother with three dollars weekly support and court visitation. Citizenship papers were issued to Albert Balotin after DOJ review.
